Booking Gorse Lodge Main House gives you the ideal balance of togetherness and space — with 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms (6 full, 2 half) and room to comfortably sleep 11–15.

Surrounded by private lakes, woodland and landscaped gardens, the Lodge offers genuine privacy — the kind that lets you properly switch off, or fill your stay with activity. Inside, you’ll find generous open-plan living flowing from the kitchen through to relaxed seating areas, with beautiful character throughout including vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s plenty to enjoy under one roof, from a bespoke bar and sociable spaces to room for relaxed evenings and shared celebrations. The Courtyard adds extra flexibility with additional ensuite bedrooms and private access, ideal for groups who want a little more independence within the same stay.

All the ground floor bedrooms and buildings have level access.

Step outside and you’ll discover terraces, lawns and wide views across the grounds — ideal for morning coffee, walks, family time, or simply enjoying the peace of the lakes and woodland setting.

The hot tub is available for an additional fee of £300.

We have a minimum stay of 3 nights as standard, with no arrivals or departures on Saturday and Sundays, but we can be flexible. Get in touch and we can see if we can accommodate you.
