The Gorse Lodge Experience
 Day 1 – Tuesday: Arrival & Warm-Up

•⁠ ⁠ Arrive and settle into 8 beautifully refurbished en-suite bedrooms, with open-plan living spaces including a conservatory, games room, cinema, bar, and gym.
•⁠  ⁠In the afternoon, enjoy a 100-bird sporting clay shoot across our private woodland and lakeside course – the perfect warm-up.
•⁠ ⁠ In the evening, dine at a local pub or restaurant (transport arranged).

    Day 2 – Wednesday: Simulated Game Day

    •⁠ ⁠Begin with breakfast at our secluded shoot cabin.
    •⁠ ⁠Experience a full simulated game day with 3,000+ clays across multiple drives – suitable for all levels.
    •⁠ ⁠Refreshments provided throughout – finish the shoot around 2:30 PM.
    •⁠ ⁠Spend the afternoon unwinding — whether that’s soaking in the hot tub, hitting the gym, or relaxing with a film in the cinema.
    •⁠ ⁠In the evening, enjoy a 3-course chef-prepared dinner at the lodge (wine pairings available).

      Day 3 – Thursday: Farewell Breakfast

      •⁠ ⁠Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and take in the last views before departing.

      Gorse Lodge – Booking Terms & Conditions 

      1. Booking & Deposit

      A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your dates are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

      The remaining balance is due in full by [insert number] days prior to arrival.

      2. What’s Included

      The £795 per person package includes:

      • Exclusive use of Gorse Lodge for up to 10 guests
      • Sporting clay shoot on Day 1 and full simulated game day on Day 2
      • Meals include dinner at a local restaurant and a 3-course meal by a visiting chef
      • Breakfasts, refreshments during shooting, and shoot-day hospitality
      3. Exclusions

      The package does not include drinks, including alcoholic beverages at the restaurant or wine pairings with the chef-prepared dinner.

      Gun hire is not included. Please advise at the time of booking if gun hire is required.

      If any guests do not hold a valid UK Shotgun Certificate, this must be declared at the time of booking. Additional staff may be required to supervise non-certificate holders, and this may affect your booking or incur additional costs.

      4. Use of the Lodge

      The lodge includes a fully equipped kitchen, and guests are welcome to bring their own food, drinks, and snacks.

      A refundable damages deposit is required and will be held against any loss, damage, or breach of terms of use during your stay. This will be returned within 7 days of departure, subject to inspection.

      Guests are expected to treat the property and grounds with respect and adhere to reasonable house rules, which will be provided upon booking.

      5. Cancellations

      Cancellations made after deposit payment will forfeit the deposit.

      Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival may be charged in full, depending on our ability to rebook the dates.

      6. Liability

      Guests participate in all shooting and physical activities at their own risk. Gorse Lodge accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained during your stay, except where caused by our proven negligence.
